It all started over 40 years ago when Ken decided to enter the watch + jewelry business. Before opening his own jewelry store, Ken spent time working for two large jewelry companies in the Twin Cities where he learned the trade and specialized in watch repair. His services include batteries, crystals, stem and crown replacement, and overhauls on a wide variety of wrist and pocket watches.

 

Kathy joined Ken in the industry on January 1st, 1997, when they opened their own jewelry shop, White Bear Jewelers, which was located on the shores of White Bear Lake, MN. Ken handled all things watch related and jewelry repair while Kathy ran all of the custom jewelry design and appraisals. Over the last 25+ years, Ken and Kathy honed their craft and built a name for themselves.

In the summer of '20, they made the bold decision to sell their store and home in White Bear Lake and  move north to fulfill their dreams of living at their cottage in Grand Rapids, MN. They saw that there was a need for their skills in the area and knew the timing was right.

Their daughter-in-law, Taylor, was already living in the area and has joined them on this new adventure.

The three of them are very grateful to be to servicing Grand Rapids and its neighboring communities!
